Tabiti crouched behind the large boulder awaiting the start of melee combat. Her heart was beating strongly and the anticipation was almost more than she could bear. Behind her Mawth was murmuring as he busied himself casting some sort of spell. Huff was watching intently to the right where the third of the green-skinned creatures was descending towards them. He had his javelin drawn. From the corner of her eye she watched as he drew back his arm and let the long slender weapon fly. Off to the left she could hear the whirr of NoBison and Jarrel’s slings. A few moments more and it would be time for her to emerge...
And then, just as it was about to get fun:
The attack of the reptilians was just about to become a melee encounter when the middle creature noticed the demise of its comrade on its left. That creature had been the lucky recipient of a javelin to the chest and had fallen to the ground rolling several times and breaking the javelin in the process. Seeing this the reptilian in the centre gave forth a loud shriek and bounded off in an erratic pattern away from NoBison and Jarrel. The other followed suit.
The group will need to decide whether to try to hunt down the creatures or let them go, and this debate is where we should begin today's session online.
